Best Pasta so far in Tropea. And we did try quite a bunch of restaurants already. Very cozy feeling and colorful decorations. feels really good. All dishes very tasty and fresh. And a real wine list with good producer and good wines. dont hesitate to visit the place. you will like it :)
In one word, WOW! First of all the entrance, beautiful interior, very tasteful! The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks English. The food was exceptionally good. Never had a tartare that was so tasteful! The spices and additives were a balanced entity. The Salomon with crusts and delicious sauce was heavenly.
The meat was tender and the garniture on the plate was balanced. The fish was really fresh and the batter was perfectly thin. Also the salad and the potato wedges were very tasty. The accompanying wine was perfect! Unfortunately we can't give 6 stars, but what an underestimated restaurant is this! Thanks chef for the delicious dishes you served us and thanks for the really friendly staff. Keep up the good work!
Lovely place with a lot of charm. The food was amazing, especially the blognese pasta which was probably the best I had in years ! The appetizer of raw shrimp was super fresh!
The chef is talented, flavourful classics. The menu is a little big for such a small restaurant I have to say.
The owner and the waitress were a little overwhelmed but very friendly.
I would go back there again !
Absolutely wonderful food. All 3 of our dishes were fantastic, so so tasty. My husband had the Bacala and said it was the best fish dish he has ever had. I was really impressed with both food and service. Highly recommended a visit here
Very nice restaurant with delicious food. We had melanzane as starter which is so fantastic and different fish as main menu.
I really recommend this restaurant which serves art of cooking and not just warmed food. Bring some time as it is well frequented. Also, fresh cooked meal takes longer.
The service is also great and fair. Trust their recommendation and you won't be disappointed.
By the way, the toilet is also clean and well equipped.

The seafood pasta was delicious. The octopus portion was really small, the taste of the octopus was okay, the taste of the potatoes was not good. The tuna pasta was not good.

Best food I’ve had in Italy. I’ve been driving from Milan to Sicily over the last 2 weeks, stopping off everywhere in between. This is without a doubt the best food I’ve had in all of Italy.
I had the grilled octopus with tomatoes, the pasta with shrimp, and the seared tuna. All 3 dishes were absolutely phenomenal!!
What’s also really nice is that the atmosphere is amazing. The place is designed to look like eating in a cave/castle.

The 5 star ambience, gracious and attentive owner and server, chef coming out to chat table side, were only surpassed by EVERY SINGLE dish served! The antipasto, the handmade pasta, and a secondi of fresh whole red snapper with tomatoes and tiny black olives were all done and served with perfection. We shared pistachio and a chocolate covered almond tartufo—each delectable. And finished with a complementary chili pepper spiced Amaro. La Villetta is a must when in Tropea.
